Sniff, Judge, Repeat – My Take on This Fragrance

Sniff

What’s up y’all, and welcome to Fresh Fade Fragrances!
This is my first official blog post, so I figured I’d kick things off by doing what I love most — talking about cologne. I’ll be giving my honest thoughts and rating this fragrance based on how it smells, how it wears, and whether it’s really worth adding to your collection.

No fluff, no fancy jargon — just real opinions from someone who actually wears this stuff day to day. Let’s get into it. The first Fragrance I will be reviewing is a popular fragrance that Released in 2023 Called "Ysl myself eau de parfum". For the note breakdown in the Top/opening it hits you with a nice sweet and fresh Calabrian bergamot and Bergamot, in the middle is a nice Floral Tunisian orange Blossom and for the dry down/bottom note its hit you with some Ambrofix Patchouli that gives it a very masculine, fresh, sweet woody note that seems to come from the patchouli.

Judge

My honest thoughts on this fragrance is that its a generic, basic every day cologne. Although that might sound bad its actually a good thing when it comes the fragrances in my opinion basic & generic means its versatile and mass appealing. Ysl myself may not be a revolutionary, Super deep, super unique fragrance. But it still a super fresh, versatile, mass appealing, compliment getting fragrance that will make for a perfect signature scent.

Repeat

Would i make this a Repeat fragrance? As in would I personally buy or re buy this fragrance? giving the fact that this fragrance is already apart of my collection i would say %100 YES. Although me personally i would prefer YSL Y EDP but YSL MYSELF is still a great option.

Final Rating
